Bonhomme 1998.

"During the winter months, a snowman was made of stones, as there was no snow available at Banana Beach near the city of Nice. Being part of a show at Villa Arson called Rien ne vas plus, the sculpture was made in the same way as the villa. Its masonrywas composed of the natural stones of the region. Instead ofthe snowman’s traditional broom, a palm branch was used forthe piece. After two years, the work was removed and destroyed by the municipality, as the beach had to be given back to the city" (Daniel Knorr).
